Next week's game is monstrous. FIU and craphole have nothing left to play for. Beat UTEP and the possibility of 6-6 (without a bowl) looms large.

Since Apogee opened, every game I have brought the kid to, UNT has won. Every...single...time. Very oddly, as we were leaving, the attendant guy stops her and says, "We won because you were here."

90... Exactly which bowl do you think wouldn't invite a crowd that traveled 30,000 to the bowl game??

When that bowl game is 40 minutes from your campus and closer to many alumni than your home stadium it means a little less.

With that being said, I think we have a decent shot at the armed forces bowl if we can just get to six wins. One down, three to go. Get by UTEP and things get real interesting.

OldGuy ... like that interesting factoid. I've got a similar thing going on, but just as it pertains to this year. When my kids have attended a North Texas game this year we're 3-0. 0-6 without them. Gotta find a way for them to start making some road trips. LOL.

Unless the bowl invite is from HOD or the Fort Worth bowl game, we ain't getting an invite.

30k at a bowl game only 30 miles from campus, not in another state. Bowl games will look at the ticket sales of our allotted away games tickets.

I can't imagine that has been good.

How many allotted tickets do you think stadiums have for away teams?? I may be a fool, but I find it hard to believe they would look at our HOD attendance and scoff at it.. But what do I know.

Did you go to Houston? The Mean Green crowd dwarfed the Rice crowd.
