How did a terrible A&M team draw 4 of the top ten players is what I want to know...

How are you unfamiliar with how a bad team recruits talent at this point?

They've been ranked for the last decade.

Shows you how much I follow it. I live within walking distance. I vaguely know that their football and baseball aren't so good and that Marcus gets all the money and better teams, followed to a lesser extent by Hebron. I think Lewisville did win something recently though. Softball maybe?

Correct on the Football and Baseball but that was due to Lewisville being the preferred retirement location for coaches with a couple of years left. Softball Team was 2012-13 5A State Champions. In descending order Flower Mound High, Marcus, and Hebron get the biggest chunk of change then whatever is left gets split between Lewisville and The Colony. One of the main problems was related to representation on the school board which has been changing over the last 5 years.

If you're that close, you should make it a point to attend a Fighting Farmer Basketball game vs Marcus or FMHS. Well worth it if you like an electric atmosphere. Yes, I am a Fighting Farmer Homer!!!

I think they have joined Baylor in offering benefit$ that aren't publi$hed...

In Waco, its called a Bible full of cash...In College Station, its probably a Corps Boot full of cash.
