Didn't a few people say they didn't care what happened as long as we beat UTSA this year? Well, they're looking just as bad, if not worse, at this point so if that keeps up, you will probably get your wish. Plus I think we can still take FIU at home, unless they're having another good day (they're really good on their good days, they just don't have many of those). UTEP is unlikely but if we can take the Miners that would probably make 5 wins...terrible I know but still, 4 or 5 sounds way better than 2....

A lot of people, myself included, predicted 6-6. Finishing 5-7 is a helluva lot better than 2-10.

I can see possibly knocking off UTEP and/or FAU. FAU looks pretty good but they've lost a couple they definitely should have won, especially FIU. UTEP looked good against UTSA but with the Runners struggling this badly that's not saying much, we might pull that one out of our collective ass as well if a few things go right.
