Yeah, a painful injury that becomes 99% pain free once the patella is set back into place. Patella's more times than not get accidentally set back in place by the athlete while still on the playing field by simply extending his/her knee. So he suffered about 30 seconds of pain and some swelling. Ligaments are often torn during a dislocated patella, apparently DT's were fine. He then went on to throw for a MVP worthy 256 yards.

See, now this is rational I can actually get behind. It's funny how people want to say we miss the defense and special teams, but we don't miss a very steady hand on the QB position, especially after we have used 3 QBs this season.

I have no confidence in this staff's ability to recruit a very good impact Juco or high school quarterback. Our best bet is to land a very NICE transfer from a high major (who was relegated to 2nd or 3rd string for whatever reason). Mac's job should be officially on the line with a repeat of 2014 in 2015.

That has zero chance of happening, even if we go 0-12 next year. He will be here until 2017, unless he leaves on his own. No way we are buying out a $600k per year contract for two or three years. We wouldn't even buyout Todd Dodge's $300k contract for more than a year. Nor will we buyout Tony Benford's contract before he only has one year left, just as we did with Trilli.

I just checked. The contract extension runs through 2018. This is North Texas football for a good long while. Meanwhile, here's a quote upon receiving said extension:

How many different safetys have we started since trice left? We have a rotation at MLB and OLB.

Ya, but this isn't about them. This is specifically about QB position.

Trying to deflect to other issues is avoidance, and a classic sign of not wanting to admit guilt/wrongness.

Which is what makes those comments so comical to me.

I'd also love to compare special teams stats, yardage and pts. Those are for sure way down.

Defense, special teams and a great running. That's what carries us to a 9-4 record. If DW or MiniMac played last season it would've been pretty much the same. If DT was playing this season, it'd be pretty much the same.

I might disagree a little bit, DT was a good field general, DW tries to be Michael Vick to much and tries to be flashy and not protect, Lil Mac just wants to be a leader but does not have the skill set, see 2nd half of Rice.

I think the team probably goes 8-5 or 7-6, DT led a few 2nd half comebacks last year when reigns were taken off, have not seen any fight from DW or Lil Mac in their opportunities

The only thing I ever said is that this team misses DT this year and would be a better team with DT on it.

That should be obvious to anyone who isn't agenda driven.
