1). Our kicking game has been pretty solid. Keena boomed a 69 yard punt and the freshman kicker has been perfect thusfar.

2). Special teams is still doing a pretty decent job of covering kicks and punts.

3). Derek Akunne has been very good and got his.

4). Jim-Jim seems to be coming on strong albeit mostly in garbage time. Also has been pretty good about protecting the pill lately.

5). Zero Wallace seems to be improving as noted in Vito's article

6). Weather seems to be cooling down should make for good tailgating

7). Tight End Marcus Smith has done some nice things.

Beer

And food

And beer

Tax deadline is tomorrow. Kid says she's going to a birthday party on Saturday and doesn't want to go to the game. I haven't had a beer on gameday yet this year. There are free shuttles to Oak Street and Uber to conclude festivities at the Royale Inn and Suites. There is a perfect storm brewing on the horizon, and I've got my galoshes on.

My lady scored six bombers of the ever-rare and hard-to-find St Arnold's Pumpkinator.

The Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster is an alcoholic beverage invented by ex-President of the Universe Zaphod Beeblebrox, considered by the Guide to be the "Best Drink in Existence". Its effects are similar to having your brains smashed in by a slice of lemon wrapped round a large gold brick.

Beeblebrox advised that you should "never drink more than two Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters unless you are a thirty ton mega elephant with bronchial pneumonia.

To actually try and hold to Harry's challenge:

1. I like what I see in the depth of our RBs.

2. If we get in close games, our kicking game could win it for us.

3. Harris Jr. and Kidsey are also fun to watch when they get the ball in space.

4. #Hit6 is still possible

5. We aren't located in San Antonio

Just to supplement my jackassery with an actual response:

1) Mathematically, we're very much in the hunt for bowl eligibility.

2) Every game left on the schedule is winnable.

3) "The Trademark" will only improve as his snap count increases -- so keep him in as the starter and let him work it out.

4) This was still a very, very young team coming into the season. Even at the highest level of football, inexperience is a tremendous hurdle to overcome.

We were late to the party, related to our investment into the program. But we still have a lot going for us -- this season and as a program overall.

We got the helmets we wanted.
