I am a Dajon guy. But after seeing his Twitter comments, I'm wondering if he's got the right mentality to lead a FBS program.

He's always had question marks about his attitude and his twitter comments will cement what many think - and certainly can't please Mac.

What are your thoughts?

I'm not as upset as most about the UAB game due to the fact that he's as young as he is, but seeing posts like this are pretty discouraging. Hope he's able to get his head in the game this weekend and play to the best he can. Dude has so much potential, just needs to play smarter football.

Edit: This is in regards to the 2nd tweet posted. I don't see anything wrong with the 1st one.

Well that pretty much confirms what I was seeing on his face after he made his last blunder and was sitting on the bench. I thought he looked a bit angry and surly.....and somewhat pouty. Not the look that the leader of a team should have.

Guys we have no idea in what context these tweets are regarding. Please step off the ledge. No one has any idea what he is talking about here!

The kid is allowed to Tweet what he wants, but it's not like he lives in a one-way bubble. He knows whatever he tweets is being watched by thousands of fans.

It's a slippery slope. There are reasons that some coaches out there ban their rosters from using Twitter.

Remember he is young and probably frustrated that is why we have coaches sometimes they need to rein in the more immature ones.

DW is just thinking ahead and trying to get a catch-phrase trademarked for life after football. This indicates a level of maturity we're not giving the young man credit for.
Looking forward to a nice long tailgate and a good game on Saturday. GMG

He is young, and this is nothing new for his twitter account for those that follow. Ive had questions about a lot of our football players from following them on twitter, it's why many coaches frown upon even having one.

"And, kids, don't tweet...the reputation you save may be your own."

This is the only thing to take out of this. Anyone in Dajon's shoes would have quick thoughts pass through his head asking, "Is this worth it?" right before assuring himself, "Durn straight, it's worth it." The problem with Twitter--okay one problem with Twitter--is that it publicizes and preserves your most stupid fleeting thoughts for all to see and remember.

Baby Momma Issues?

With my own organ and clusticles, I've fathered two children. And, I can say from experience that diapers, baby wipes, and formula are expensive. To say nothing of the doctor visits for checkups and shots and whatnot.

Did the NCAA change rules to where the schools can now help their student/parent-athletes with such expenses? I'm sure the Criminal 5 are way out ahead of the G5 on this issue as well.

Maybe he's saying he doesn't care about his injuries? Maybe he doesn't care about the public perception of his play? He's young, we have no idea the context of these messages
