Spread... read option... options.. why not put dajon in a bus driver position similar to dt? O noticed this last game we basicall ran a completley different offensive scheme.. why not just let dajon run on broken plays or play action bootlegs and run the ball old school.. when we sread people out we cant seem to get the edge as well nor do we run as well inside.. just my observation..

I completely agree. I understand adding those wrinkles to our offense with Dajon, but our offense is almost essentially a wildcat package with Dajon.

I think the reason for that is what we've been hearing all along. He didn't know the playbook and missed a lot of time, so he doesn't have a good grasp on the true playbook. So the coaches have basically come up with this package for him. Problem is, the package is kind of predictable and easy to catch on to. That's the dilemma with Dajon.

That's a big reason why re-opening the qb competition can hurt us, now. Dajon needs to be learning more plays and stuff under center, so we're not just running this wildcat package all game. Now he'll be needing to win the qb job again, instead of focusing on learning the offense. We really need him to get a complete grasp of this offense over the offseason.

Well maybe thats what he ment by opening the competition again instead of wasting time with this new package..(not bad for everyonce in a while) he is seeing if dajon has put his studying in and has learned more of the original offense(seems a little less complicated then what we tried to impose on him)

And if Dajon wants to be the starting QB for the rest of his college career. We know darn well he'll be studying those plays and showing the coaches he can overcome those ridiculous mistakes.
