Defense is not playing together at all. LB's taking on blocks with wrong shoulder and not turning the ball carrier towards the other LB. So frustrating.

The defense has given up 7 points and struggling QB is directly responsible for the other 14.

If he has anything other than hype, he will figure out a way to turn things around. If he doesn't, you are seeing why he was 3rd string to start the year. He needs to show he can actually produce against FBS starters.

If he has anything other than hype, he will figure out a way to turn things around. If he doesn't, you are seeing why he was 3rd string to start the year. He needs to show he can actually produce against FBS starters.

I'll assume he's also responsible for a quickly collapsing pocket, having ONE reliable receiver and predictable play calling...right?

They just panned around about 1/3 of the stadium. I don't think crowd noise is a determining factor...

This season is also suffering from sky-high expectations. You can't lose as many starters as UNT has and expect the same level of play. I predicted 3-7 to start the year, and unfortunately it looks like I'm going to be right.

Hank and George were mentioning that this UAB squad as the look and feel of UNT's squad last year, and it makes a lot of sense.

I think you'll see the impact of yet another blowout loss next week at Apogee, especially if the weather is cold. We'll be lucky to crack 11k and Mac will have his work cut out. You may have to start wondering if his old school approach is losing a lot of the players, especially the younger players.
