To be honest I don't care about the body bag games only if, ONLY if they are winnable. Much like the @ Iowa game next year. Still can't fully wrap my head around having 2 of them in the same year. That is some serious FCS, bush league antics. Playing a blue blood body bag game should never, ever happen again. Wth was RV thinking scheduling Bama, LSU and UGA? It's moronic and does absolutely nothing for this program collectively. Those 3 games should not have happened and should never happen again. Play winnable body bags or don't play them at all. Bc believe it or not the program is losing potential revenue that given season when fans, students, casuals, and die hard out of towners watch our team get drug through the mud. They are going to be far less prone to make the trip(s) to Apogee.

I'm in the same camp man. But if it is out of necessity then it is what it is. But I just hope they start at least trying to make the most out of the financial situation by scheduling more games such as Kstate and Iowa in comparison to LSU and Bama. What's the difference in the price, a couple hundred thousand? That's money that would be earned back easily by putting a good showing together against an Iowa than being beaten to death by an Alabama. Also, no more in state P5 games. Florida has been down lately and it's almost guaranteed that they will have a legitimate squad come 2016 when we travel to the swamp. And for what? A couple hundred K extra. I get the body bag game, but why are we doing it versus the most premiere teams in CFB. We will never consistently beat them if we can't get on the consistent side of winning and that's never going to happen having to play these type teams every year. It's a vicious cycle that is most definitely stacked against us.

This is Pitt's way of spiting their old rival, West Virginia. They played forever in the Backyard Brawl when both were either independent or in the Big East together. But then WVU bolted to the Big XII, which meant that Pitt refused to continue that series. Then Pitt got an ACC spot, which WVU coveted forever. Now, Pitt has decided to keep WVU down as much as they can in the region by playing their in-state rival instead.

Basically, this would be like TCU and SMU refusing to play each other and one of them substituting the other one for us on their schedule, just to spite the other one.
