Birmingham, Ala. ---- Following a Conference USA victory over WKU last Saturday, 42-39, UAB head coach Bill Clark and the Blazers look to carry that momentum into this Saturday's matchup against North Texas at Legion Field.

"The WKU win showed us a lot of things," said Clark. "It showed how we could fight, overcome adversity, win on the road and come together. Those are all different things we can draw on later in the season. You should want to continue that feeling of success."

The Mean Green enters this weekend with the fifth-best scoring offense in the conference, ranked just below the Blazers with 34.4 point per game. UAB's defense will have face another top quarterback in North Texas freshman Dajon Williams, who leads all C-USA passers with a 163.7 passing efficiency rating.

"(Dajon) Williams and (Brandon) Doughty are totally different quarterbacks except for the fact they both have good arms," Clark said. "This guy is a tailback playing quarterback. They base their offense on letting him run the zone read, but he can still throw it a mile. His control over the offense is getting better every week. They are super talented and do things with a big offense line, good running backs and tall receivers to compliment him."
