Mean Green Fans, It's official, the Pokemon Go craze has made it's way over to our very own beloved Apogee Stadium. Tomorrow, Wednesday July 20th from 6:00-8:00 p.m we will be holding a Pokemon Go event at Apogee. Apogee alone is home to five Poke Stops. On top of being able to catch Pokemon around Apogee, the stadium is also a Gym, meaning each player has the opportunity to unite with other Poke Players and hold battles around the field. Now catching Pokemon will not be the only aspect to the night, there will also be free drinks, snacks, tons of giveaways, prizes, and fun for everyone throughout the event. We ask that all Poke Players please park in the North parking lot behind the Wing and enter into the stadium through Gate 3. Gates will open exactly at 6:00 p.m. This event is sponsored by Mean Green Athletics, UNT Student Activities, UNT University Program Council, and the UNT University Union.
