As you may know, every week, the @UNTFootball account on Twitter updates the "name" associated with it to a hashtag and the words "beat _____" (opponent's name). So, for instance, until last Saturday it was #beatSMU. Please tell me I'm not the only one that noticed that the current display name is Beatrice. It would be hilarious if we were refer to the Owls as "Beatrice," but you don't want that to be your display name. I only saw it today; otherwise, I would have spread the word sooner. PLEASE, someone, if you know who runs it (it says it's not affiliated with the University) tell whoever is in charge to use #DefeatRice instead. Hell, they can say #DefeatBeatrice if they want to roll with the joke and call the Owls "Beatrice." But when that hashtag is the "name" of the UNT Football account...really, what are we, the Golden Girls? I guess we could even go with #Beat_Rice if they don't want to alter it too much, but PLEASE, make sure everything gets changed before it's widespread enough that we're the laughingstock of the internet, like every other "hashtag gone wrong" story you've ever heard of. It's like playing Celebrity Jeopardy, except there's no Darrell Hammond playing Sean Connery.
