He also will join his high school teammat Jay Arnold at Texas A&M. Points chose Texas A&M over offers he had from North Texas, SMU, Syracuse and Tulsa. The commitment to go to Texas A&M happened quickly as Points received an offer from head coach Kevin Sumlin in the evening and verbally committed the next day.
