Norris, a Grand Prairie, Texas, native, had offers from Minnesota and Arkansas according to Rivals.com at the time he chose North Texas State out of high school. “He was our No. 1 guy at point guard we recruited but unfortunately we didn’t get him,” USD coach Dave Boots said. “We liked his quickness and leadership. He was one of the better passers we saw all that summer.” Read more: http://www.argusleader.com/article/20120830/SPORTS/308300044/Sports-briefs-Sumner-still-outof-SDSU-practice?odyssey=tab|topnews|text|Sports
