The Alabama-Birmingham Blazers rallied from an early 13 point deficit to edge Western Kentucky 42-39 on the road as a ten point underdog. This was all about offense and scoring with the Blazers rolling up nearly 600 yards split between the ground and air which overcame another 300+ yard passing day from the Hilltoppers Brandon Doughty. ordan Howard paced UAB on the ground with 183 yards on 34 carries with a pair of trips to the endzone while DJ Vinson added 76 yards. Cody Clements was nearly perfect through the air on a 22-25 performance for 300 yards with a pair of touchdowns and an interception with Josh McGee hauling in a 75 yard scoring pass.
From watching both teams I believe Alabama-Birmingham has improved while North Texas might be a half step back from 2013. I don't really like the spot for the Mean Green and right now will give the points so please check back later in the week...
