On his team’s offensive struggles:
“We knew they were a pretty good defense. We knew they were more talented than what they’ve had been given credit for. But I didn’t expect us not be able to block them at all. I knew it was going to be a challenge. We scripted a lot of things to get the ball out quickly, but we did not do what we needed to do to win the football game. It’s hard for the quarterback to go back and throw anything when he doesn’t have the time. We could not protect the quarterback.”
