Egi Gjikondi, a former Alabama State signee, finished up his official visit to UNT today. Gjikondi, a 6-8 power forward, said he enjoyed his time at UNT and what the school has to offer. “The thing that stuck out was the chance to be at a big place and on a big campus,” Gjikondi said. “They have a good business major and have a lot of diversity on campus.” The question now is whether or not Gjikondi will end up being a part of UNT’s plans. Former Alabama State signee Egi Gjikondi should be in town sometime today to begin his official visit to UNT. I mentioned this late last night, but Gjikondi suddenly looms large in UNTs plans with Wannah Bail seemingly out of the picture. Bail is at UCLA today, USC tomorrow and will visit Miami after that. We have been pointing out for months that UNT has just one guy over 6-6 coming back in Keith Coleman, who barely played last year.
