2014 OL Brad Lundblade (6’3, 285, 4.69 shuttle) of Liberty Christian School in Texas claims a verbal offer from North Texas, but he’s just scratching the surface on his recruitment. “I’m getting interest and camp invitations from Texas, Kansas St., Texas Tech, Baylor, Houston, Michigan, and Texas A&M.” He says Kansas St., Texas, and Michigan are showing him the most interest currently. Last season, Lundblade earned all-state Honorable Mention and first team all-district honors. UNT fails to make final three for local star lineman

Ben Baby, one of our high school writers, caught up with Liberty Christian offensive lineman Brad Lundblade today to see where he stands in recruiting. UNT is one of about a dozen schools to offer the Lundblade, but it looks like the Mean Green is out of the race for the local private school standout. Lundblade told Ben that he plans to visit San Diego State, Tulane and possibly New Mexico after the season. He is also holding out hope that a Big 12 school offers. UNT has had a few private school kids over the years, including James Mitchell from Liberty, but seems like a bad fit for private school guys in general.
