Trey Norris, a 5-10 point guard who averaged 11.7 minutes a game last year for North Texas State, has transferred to the University of South Dakota and will be eligible to play in 2013-2014.
Norris, a Grand Prairie, Texas, native, had offers from Minnesota and Arkansas according to Rivals.com at the time he chose North Texas State out of high school.
“He was our No. 1 guy at point guard we recruited but unfortunately we didn’t get him,” USD coach Dave Boots said. “We liked his quickness and leadership. He was one of the better passers we saw all that summer.”
