Trey Norris, a 5-10 point guard who averaged 11.7 minutes a game last year for North Texas State, has transferred to the University of South Dakota and will be eligible to play in 2013-2014. Norris, a Grand Prairie, Texas, native, had offers from Minnesota and Arkansas according to Rivals.com at the time he chose North Texas State out of high school. “He was our No. 1 guy at point guard we recruited but unfortunately we didn’t get him,” USD coach Dave Boots said. “We liked his quickness and leadership.
