Dallas Lincoln was one of the most pleasant surprises in the DFW area in 2012. Despite a limited number of players and coaches for that matter, the Tigers won district 12-4A with a perfect 7-0 record and finished the season 10-2. The Tigers are loaded for the 2014 class with brothers Erick Neal and Derrick Neal, TCU commit Emmanuel Porter and Aaron Jenkins headlining the impressive class. Jenkins was a force on both sides of the ball; on defense he totaled 43 tackles, 18 TFL, 4 sacks while producing 27 pancake blocks on offense. I think I did pretty good for my first time playing defense in high school, he said. On the offensive line I think I did pretty good. I like the offensive line because Ive played it longer but I know Ill probably have to play the defensive line when I get to college. Not surprisingly, college programs are already intrigued by Jenkins ability. Im getting interest from North Texas, Houston and Rice right now, he said. UNT and Houston have offered. They offered as a defensive tackle or they said I might play center.
