The USA Rugby College 7s National Championship is being played this weekend in Greensboro, NC and our very own North Texas Rugby team qualified. In the most recent rankings, UNT’s 7s team is ranked 22nd in the nation and is the only school in Texas in the top 25.They will be going toe to toe with several "big name" universities such as Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, Auburn, Arizona State as well as some lesser known Rugby powerhouses Life, Air Force, Navy, Davenport and Lindenwood. They will play 3 games tomorrow to determine seeding in the finals on Sunday. Tomorrow they play Arkansas St (#1 ranked team in the country) at 9:20, Oregon State (16) at 1:20, and Florida (25) at 4:00pm.
