Who was the player that was here for 2 years and left to play for a small Catholic school in Philadelphia ? He was dismissed from the team at one point and always seemed to be almost out of control most of the time.

Help me here. As I recall, Ronnie Morgan came to NT after playing somewhere else first. Right ? Seems like he was only here for 2 years.

I think "Euless is more" is a funny name. And pie.

This is similar to the murder of running back Bernard Jackson back in the 80s (?) He was shot and killed outside the Mean Green Inn Club the Thursday before the SMU game that Saturday. A senseless tragedy that will ruin the lives of at least 2 young men.

All the college coaches are from Texas. I've heard from the hiring of Johnny that he wanted to get back to LSU. Never from Johnny, but from everyone else. If that's true, I don't see LSU choosing a coach from NT. Maybe from somewhere else via NT but not from N.T. straight to LSU.

Is it not likely that Johnny will want to stay, at least until after next year, to coach what's left of a very good 2009-2010 team ? He's only losing E.T. this year. The whole team must be re-fitted after next year.

I'd like to keep Johnny for a long time. He's a class coach and perhaps the best coach, BB and FB that has ever been here. Any vacancy will not be of the University's doing. However, if that were to happen, I'd like to see Penders here. At least from what I've seen and of who I know is available. Stay Johnny Stay GO MEAN GREEN

When we played Memphis 2 years ago, I recall it being a noon-ish game. Does anyone know what time this game at OK City will tip ? The atmosphere at the Pourhouse what fantastic. The way it should be. GO MEAN GREEN

Drat. This gives Baylor an inside track into that hotbed of football, Monroe, Louisiana. I bet a ton of Bear backers will want to travel to watch this slugfest. Certainly easier to get to than Denton. G

Bob Hope performed there. Also the Shirells and Lou Christy (ask your Mom). the original orange seats were put in becasue they were the best color for television contrast. I did a lot of research on the seat fabric when we recovered the seats. there were rumors about the color being a tribute to the architect and of the presdent of the University at the time. None were true. I even talked with the man that made the decision on the orange seats. Believe it or not, his name was Klutz.

I just find it unbeliveable that this thing is happening. i'm sure it's been mentioned, but during halftime Thursday night, Dr. B. was presented with a necklace with 16 stones in it-one for each of the 16 sports that North Texas fields. Very classy on Rick's part. G

I understand this award comes with $25,000 to be given to a charity of the winner's choice. I wish North Texas Athletics could be that choice. Especially since this si "found" money. GO MEAN GREEN

Last night, the KERA Texas Debate was heald at the Murchinson on the NT campus. It was wonderful. The place was packed. I have never seen as many television news trucks as I saw last night. Dr. Batile welcomed the crowd and I got to speak with her before the debate started. In her opening speech, she stated that North Texas was neither red or blue. North Texas was green. I was very proud. GO MEAN GREEN

My son graduated from A & M in 2006. I determined that anything that happens at A & M twice, they call it a tradition and name a building after it. Now make fun of them if you wish, but the football games are always sold out, people line up 3 and 4 deep to watch the Corp of Cadets march in, and there's a waiting list for a parking spot in the travel trailer/motor home parking lot. Crazy ? Yes. Loyal ? They're always there. who ever the coach is. GO MEAN GREEN
