I'm opposed to the retiring of anymore jerseys. I expect to get great HOF quality athletes for decades to come. Recognize these athletes and reord their player numbers if you wish, but stop the notion of reducing the numbers available to incoming players. This could be the differene in a recruit coming to North Texas or not. Is there a cord or stole to recognize athletes at graduation ?

I've seen as many NT basketball games as anyone my age and I've never heard anyone, fan, coach, player, mdeia writer, anyone mention the lighting. Who is this guy ?

It doesn't exist. Sorry if I got anyone's hopes up. I heard from someone a year or so ago that they wanted to open a NT themed sports bar. I was trying to help with a location. Well, there's a good one now available at 222 W. Hickory. Right next to the historic Campus Theater. It used to be Burgundy Restaurant and it was a nice place. All the equiptment seems to be in place from what I can see through the windows. I know nothing about restaurants or bars, but this does seem a good spot for a bar and grill.

I wish I'd known Coach Mac would be a the Mean Green room last night. I got to the Coliseum early to see the end of the Women's game. I'd much rather gone down stairs to hear Coach Mac.so Some of the best news for me is that he intends to live in Denton. I know that doesn't mean much to some, but to me, it signals a real commitment to the program. Just llike Hayden Fry did back in the 70s. Thanks for the update.

Radio, do you own a car, a house, a tree, or have any money ? If so, and one of the above were destroyed, what punishment, if any, would you deem appropriate for the person or persons that commited the deed ? And is a healthy 130 year old tree worth any more money in terms of replacement cost, than a 5 year old tree ?

Thanks 61. I spoke with Ken just now (Monday 2-14) and asked about Garland Warren. Ken told me that he knew of no problem with North Texas but of a real loyality to the people of San Marcos where his chain of stores are located. Ken even told me the story of the 'midnight milk' and Garland's feeling a need for a late night convenience store. But again, no knowledge of hard feelings.

Did you notice his player card is written in English and French ? I'll ask Ken Bahnsen if he knows about the riff between GW and NT
