  1. And Frisbee Dogs at halftime. Oh yeah. And all that other stuff.
  2. COULDN'T CARE LESS
  3. I wish he'd come to Denton High and do his high school magic for the Broncos. I think it would be a wierd combination, but if he could do half as well at DHS as he did at Southlake, I'd be thrilled.
  4. In the opinion of the GOMEANGREEN.COM posters, should Penn State be given the Death Penalty ?
  5. Almost everyone has an ankle. Two, actually.
  6. I think it would be cool to leave the uniforms and the shade of green the same for 2 seasons in a row. From across the field or on TV, fans dressed in black or white could appear to be cheering for either side. North Texas is the Mean Green. "Glory to the Green."
  7. I think I only missed 2 of Coach McCarney's shows this season, but over and over he stated that McNulty has better practices than Osborn. Since practices are closed we can either believe him or consider him a out and out liar who for some reason is keeping the better QB on the bench. Since he gets paid to coach and I have to pay to watch, I'll just go along with what Coach MaC says.
  8. NT is a 5 point dog. Mean Green fans must cheer at least 6 points worth to make it even. GO MEAN GREEN
  9. You're thinking of TOM and JO'S. A long time Denton eatery gone now. The building is still standing but the awning and the famous TOM and JO'S sign have been removed. This would be a wonderful place for someone to open a Mean Green themed watering hole called, "TOM and JO's MEAN GREEN"
  10. Mr. Frosty has been around forever. For some however, the name is simply "FROSTY." Back in the 80s or 90s, the "MR" blew over in a storm. It wasn't repaired for many years, so for those patrons, the place for the best root beer in the world was "Frosty." Mr. Frosty is owned by the Webb family. I went to high school with one of the brothers and they still have car shows from time to time. Randy is the brother you'll probably speak with at the counter. They still have great french fries, double meat cheeseburgers and the aforementioned best root beer there is. I'll stop by tonight after the Mean Green show LSU what for. GO MEAN GREEN
  11. I wish we would abandon the slam dunk. I know it's a fan favorite, but we demonstrated several times that a simple layup is more of a sure thing than a dunk. Just steal the ball, run down the court, and lay it in for 2. Then play defense. No need for showboats this far inland. GO MEAN GREEN
  12. "Are you the guys from Lafayette ?"
  13. I'm sure I'm the only person that doesn't know what Beef 'o' Brady is. Would someone please clue me in. Go Sun Belt GO MEAN GREEN
  14. I'm going to have a hard time with this. Rah Rah TCU. Sun Belt 1-1 Go Sun Belt GO MEAN GREEN
  15. Congratulations to Louisiana in their spectacular win over San Diego. Florida Intl. takes on Marshall tonight in what I hope will be the second win in a row for the Sun Belt. TCU and La Tech play (tomorrow ?)and I'm wondering who I should cheer for. I've got mo passion for TCU and also don't care about La Tech, but from a Sun Belt stand point and a NT stand point, who do I want to win. La Tech beats TCU and joins the Sun Belt, the SBC looks better. La Tech loses to a powerful TCU team and might be more inclined to join us in the SBC. La Tech wins, and they don't feel like they need anybody. I'm ready to cheer. Just point me in the best position for the Sun Belt and North Texas. Oh yeah...Beat Grambling tonight. GO MEAN GREEN
  16. What's the smaller print ovr "UNT FOOD DEPARTMENT" ? We have a food department ? Do we also have a root beer department ? The truck/trailer look great. GO MEAN GREEN
  17. Nice (ice?) pass.
  18. Sun Belt 1 MWC-Big East 0 GO SUN BELT
  19. 26-17 Cajuns 12:48 4th GO SUN BELT
  20. And it's cheaper that one of those newspaper ads or billboards.
  21. I'm pleased to hear this young man is coming to play at North Texas. I hope he is successful. But there are a zillion and seven 1-A players within 40 miles of the North Texas campus. and 25 zillion within 100 miles. Local players bring mom and dad and grandmothers and girlfriends and formers coaches. Why are we going out of state (and paying out of state tuition )to recruit when everybody calls the D-FW area a "hotbed" oftalent ? Again to this young man, welcome abord. You will love your time at North Texas. GO MEAN GREEN
  22. But what's the deal with "III" ? Is there some confusion with him and his father ? Or his grandfather ?
  23. Let's at least go to this site and vote for NT. When I voted just now (Sat 4:30) La Tech was leading us 75-23
  24. This is who Rice is. Very important member of CUSA and hopefully a friend of North Texas
