While I like the spirit of this idea and I want apogee filled up as much as anyone, I hate the idea that we have to give away our product. We have the nicest stadium in all of college football and we have a team that most of us expect to be bowl eligible. And what kind of a message does this send to our marginal fans ? " Don't buy tickets-somebody will give you tickets. Why spend money on a North Texas game." Again, I want 31,000 butts in seats, but I'm opposed to giving away what I think is well worth my entertainment dollar. GO MEAN GREEN

Doesn't the sign say "N Texas"? I would like to get that changed. The way it's written now, it appears that the street name is "Texas" and that this is the "North" end of that street. The Ped Bridge looks great.

As previously said, a bump in the road. There are so many that have such affection for Joe Paterno that they will give over 60 million to make up for this situation. And come fall, they won't feel the difference. They will still load up the family car and head to State College, PA. and cheer when the Nittany Lions take the field. Even if Penn State doesn't win, there will be little difference on Saturdays at Penn State. If Southern Meth got the "death penalty" for NCAA rules violations, then Penn State should havae gotten the death penalty for criminal behavior and the system wide effort to cover up the crime. This means Joe Paterno is not the winningest major college coach. But he really is. The record book will be changed, but the palyers, opponents and fans will know which team won which game. Also, fans will still be able to go to a ball game on saturday afternoon just like always. No bowl trips this year, but, maybe they wern't going to a bowl game anyway. Sorry. OK, but he already HAD a D 1 scholarship. He would have earned court time in due time. There is no law requiring a player to skip his senior or junior season to be considered a NBA prospect.
