Almost every game I've been to this season, I've had visiting fans sitting in my reserved area. I can just imagine how many non-season ticket holders will be in reserved seating tonight.

The only mistake they made was getting caught. They knew they were stealing. That's why they tried to cover up their theft by stuffing the loot in a backpack. That's the definition of a thief. One that steals. These thieves embarrassed me this morning. These thieves play for my University. Kick them off the team and maybe the other football players at the University of North Texas will notice and not become thieves themselves.

CougarKing, Why won't you answer me ? When were you at the University of Houston and what was your degree awarded in ? By not answering you make me think you're hiding something.

CougarKing missed my question on another earlier post. My question was, when was CougarKing at the University of Houston and what did he(she?) get his degree in ? Are you a U of Houston alum or did you just go to Wal-Mart ?

We won 4 SBC championships in our 12 years in the Sun Belt, 1 with a losing record, and have not had a winning record, except for 3 of those 4 championship years otherwise in those 12 years. I hope Conference USA is better.

I have often wondered the same thing. Rudy's hosts the coach's show each Monday and they are really friendly and ready to help. I bet asking would make it happen. I will ask and find out and report back on these very pages after Thanksgiving.

The little girl on Meanie Greenie needs to be on the scoreboard. I think it would be as big a hit as the Mean Joe Coca-Cola commercial. Here's houw we fix the fight song problem. Show the lyrics on the scoreboard when the fight song is played. And change the middle eight to: NORTH TEXAS MEAN GREEN NORTH TEXAS MEAN GREEN FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT. No place for rude people to hijack our fight song. GO MEAN GREEN

I saw the maroon girls also. I wondered why they hadn't chosen green as well. As to the fraternity topic, most independents don't have 8 foot letters telling the world they are independents. When we sit on the press box side of Apogee, and see some Greek letters 8 feet high, and a bunch of boys standing around them, I assume they are in a fraternity. If one's actions may cause them embarrassment, don't advertise the organization's name. Simple. GO MEAN GREEN

I got in from the game at 12:20 this morning. And I have a 6:30 AM meeting every Wednesday morning. Today I hit the office door with a hearty "GO MEAN GREEN." Some had watched the game on TV but evrybody knew that I would be pumped up today. We had a great time last night. The temperature went from warm to very cool. What a great win. Now we must build on it. Let's get ready to beat up on Middle Tennessee. Everybody come to the Coach's show Monday at 7:00 at Rudy's. It will be a fun time. MaC will be cranked up. We've got 2 now. If we beat La La, and beat Middle, now with their running back out for the season. That's 4. And I'm sure we can beat South Alabama. That's 5. Now who do we beat ? Arky State ? A blazing hot Monroe ? Or Western Kentucky ? I want a 6 win season as much as anyone. But which of those 3 above mentioned teams can we knock off ? It starts NOW GO MEAN GREEN PS...I think we travel fairly well. I would think bowl sponsors would look at our travel numbers as well as our season record.
