  1. Captain Nemo's is next door to the Center for the Visual Arts and across the street from the Central Fire Station. It's in the location where Hoochie's Oyster House was (Hoochie's is now on Hickory @ industrial). There was a nice article on Nemo's in Sunday's D R-C. The original owner, Milton Fette is back at the helm and I can't wait to get another steak, cheese, and mushrooms. The original Nemo's was on Eagle @ Bernard. Lots of action on and around the square. All good places to celebrate NT wins. Beat Texas GO MEAN GREEN
  2. I don't recall after the game. But i rode the elevator with Corkey when he was on his was to the game that afternoon. He really thought NT would win the game. I always thought we did. Beat Texas GO MEAN GREEN

  7. 2 thoughts First, perhaps the University should adopt a single credit card acceptance system and let every department use it with that department's specific code. Second. If North Texas fans woould buy season tickets, the waiting period to buy "premium" games would be waived. i got my Texas tickets months ago. Beat Texas GO MEAN GREEN

  12. And remind your other customer (the NT alum) to wear green gear as well. If NT wins, you will be the king of that section. And if NT loses, Horn fans will tell you NT played well for a "small school," Beat Texas GO MEAN GREEN
  13. Isn't his last chance the one after his first failed drug test ? Beat Texas GO MEAN GREEN
  14. As of this morning (Tuesday June 24) North Texas will be ranked no lower that 69 in the USAToday poll. Maybe a top 50 pre season ranking is not so unrealistic after all. Beat Texas GO MEAN GREEN
