It seems to me that the Sports Information Department is in charge of this mis-information. the Sports Information Director should provide correct stats for these hired gun annnouncers. After all, they only know what they know. After providing a list of stats and traditions, the SID needs to sit down with these out-of-towners and make sure they know the correct nafme of the school, and where in the world the Mean Green nickname came from. I don't know. However, after the game, I was driving through campus and the person I dropped off lived near the soriety houses.
