Silly me. I thought the bus would leave from the east side of Apogee.

The last time I was in Wisconsin, the waitress was not familiar with Dr Pepper. In 2019 many of us, maybe me, will no longer be in attendance at Apogee. Or anywhere else. I hope we can schedule some "name brand" teams to play here while I'm still able to walk to my seats. Beat the Badgers (I don't think I've ever seen a badger) GO MEAN GREEN

Does everybody know about this ? The annual Mean Green Appreciation event is August 27 from 6-8 at Apogee. This is another reason, although not THE reason, to join the Mean Green Club. Food (I can't spell or'derves) and a cash bar. For those of you that haven't supported North Texas Athletics yet, now is a great time and reason to do so. GO MEAN GREEN

One of my favorite Mean green moments came with NT against Colorado in Boulder. Mario was a freshman and he single handedly quieted the crowd. And he kept that ugly buffalo in his trailer as well. GO MEAN GREEN

I guess TV is considered the be all-end all. I wonder if we were offered a TV spot for a 9:00am kickoff we'd take it. Remember we played at Texas time before last at 11:00 in the morning. Does anyone think we lose fans in the stands to TV ? GO MEAN GREEN

I was asked this morning at Church if I was willing to donate my Hub Club seats for one game this season for an auction. I tried to explain that I don't miss North Texas home games but that I would try to find a pair that would'nt be used. So here I am. If you know you're not going to use a pair of club seats this season, please PM me. i don't know anything about writeoffs and such, but I'll do what I can along those lines. I hope a successful season doesn't hinge on beating Southern Meth. I heard it said over and over on weekend sandlot football games, "Cheaters never win-Winners never cheat." I'd just as soon drop them from our schedule except for the low travel cost and the sure win aspect. mark me down for UTSA. Although, as Coach MaC has said, we have to win occasionally for this to be a rivalry. GO MEAN GREEN

I like the way UNTcampbell thinks. 1million dollars for a "sure win" is nothing for the big conference schools. 3 mil might be more than the traffic will bear, but 2 mil sounds about right. The notion that a big conference school would not play a lesser conference school over a stinkin' million dollars is absurd. They'll pay. And if they don't we can schedule 7 home games against teams we can be more competitive with. GO MEAN GREEN

I've read these terms forever and I don't know what they mean. Does P5 stand for POWER 5 conferences ? If so, what are the P5 conferences ? And what does G5 stand for ? And what are the conferences in the G5 ? GO MEAN GREEN

I want to beat all of them. But I chose La Tech because I think they have the best known presence nationally than any team in the west. But I want to beat UTSA and Rice, and Southern Miss and UTEP. Oh, and Southern Meth.
