You’re absolutely right LIFER. Neither fans from ponyfans or cougarfans want to play us, certainly wouldn’t want us as conference mates again, yet some of their “fans” can’t stay away from our site. Makes me wonder if they are trying to convince us or themselves. It reminds me of junior high when the guys from the high school would drive around our school to impress upon us just how much they had matured over the summer.

I have never heard of or seen anything that suggested that “the NCAA has long since acknowledged had they known the fallout from SMU that the death penalty would’ve never been on the table.” Please cite this reference. And why do ponyfans and cougarfans continue to monitor GOMEANGREEN.COM ?

I was worried about keeping Chandler healthy this season. With the excepting of a few snaps (against Army ?) He was injury free the entire season. Knock wood. -
I get that Coach Morris gets $35K for a bowl appearance. Does he get more if we win ?

How do we continue to attract people from Ponyfans and cougar fans ? Are the fan sites from those schools so bad they feel the need to come over here ? Are some of us going to the dark side and provoking them ?

Thanks TM. According to the PRO FOOTBALL NETWORK, via Google, SKIP makes $95,000. per year in a 4 year contract. We could pay that by checking under the sofa cushions in EM’s office.

I always thought Skip got more out of his La Tech team than he should have. He was at Tech for a long time as I recall. Would he be a good fit here ? We certainly have better facilities than Tech had.

At this point I don’t know what to expect. I don’t think we’ve worn the greys yet. The icy whites worn against Arkansas will always be my favorites.

I like the “I believe…” chant. If there was about 10 seconds break between the end of play and the DJ or PA announcements, I think the “NORTH”- “TEXAS” chant would start organically.

EM fired the DC to save himself. If he didn’t see our defensive struggles last season, well, he would be the only one. I can’t imagine it happening, but I’d love to see Mack Brown here. If only for a season or two.

I think it odd that our banner dancers (as opposed to the North Texas Dancers) twirl (replica) rifles. I could see such a thing from a school with a military background like A&M or The Citadel or Virginia Tech. But what possible sense does it make for our band to use rifles. Why not twirl, maybe, batons.
