Yeah, I've been to Memphis in December and it's pretty freakin cold from what I can remember.

Yeah, I was a little surprised to see Channel 8 there yesterday but at the same time VERY pleased.

If we end up not going to the Cowboys game tonight my family will be there.

I am making reservations this minute. Is anyone staying two nights? Just curious. My brother turns 21 the week prior so my husband and I are taking my brother and his girlfriend to the game AND gambling. Should be fun!

Hollywoods is where we wanted to stay and I couldn't remember what was close by. Is the Holiday Inn within walking distance? Do you know the telephone number or anything? It might be worth me canceling the reservations we have at the Isle.

We wanted to stay at one of the larger casinos but they are all booked. We are doing the Isle of Capri. If you go to Expedia you can still book rooms as low as $125.00/night.

It WAS super easy to do both. I for one would definitely like to be able to dress in North Texas gear without having to pay out the wazoo at the football games like I have done in the past.

I know for a fact that our hotels list the New Orleans Bowl among events but it usually isn't until it is a little closer to bowl season. **I work for Wyndham so we DEFINITELY advertise the NO Bowl** But even the other bowl games that we have hotels close to we don't start promoting the bowl games and hotel rates for the games until a few months out.

That is sarcasm. Surely..... God really DID answer my basketball prayers this season.

I'll be there with my husband and our two year old little girl! (much to my grandfather's dismay...lol....he's a TCU grad)
