If there is no change to the strategy in which we currently play the game..... 5-8 at best and that is with no OCC wins. Hopefully I will be proven wrong.

I got a few sprinkles headed into downtown Dallas to work. Nothing bad though, except the usual crazies who don't know how to drive.

I am not talking about F.C. Dallas. I am talking about a lot of the Mexico/Central America/South America clubs that come to Dallas to play. I have been to quite a few.

Actually there are quite a few soccer games held there every year that draw in decent numbers. It will definitely increase attendance to those games if they improve the venue.

Just FYI. Wyndham will not be sponsoring the bowl when it returns to New Orleans. Seems the New Orleans properties themselves were the ones budgeting the sponsorship and of course now cannot afford it since they really aren't pulling in a lot of money.

Actually the company that bought Wyndham was Blackstone. Blackstone turned around and sold the entire brand and brand name to Cendant just about a month and a half ago. The only thing Blackstone kept were the owned properties which was just a small portion of the entire portfolio. Cendant now owns Wyndham. Blackstone is who just purchased LaQuinta. And for the record Wyndham wasn't ever and isn't in any trouble. Blackstone just made an offer way too good to refuse. Confusing isn't it?

Rick~ Who won the St. Anthony stay in San Antonio? I didn't see that winner posted. Or am I just missing it?

I believe someone posted yesterday that Rick is in the midst of moving and as soon as he gets a chance he is going to post the final list of winners.

My husband won the grandprize. Total craziness. We have never won anything before!

So I guess DD changed his mind between Wed. and Thursday?

Rick, I have one more certificate to add. The GM at Wyndham Dallas Market Center (right around the corner from the Anatole) is giving me a certificate for a weekend night stay that includes breakfast for two.

Wasn't sure if you would want to add these to the auction. Two Wyndham Branded 128M USB 2.0 USB Flash Drives. They are super nice. They are both brand new in their boxes with the cable, CD ROM, carrying strap and instructions.

Working for a hotel company has some advantages.

Harry- I have one more certificate to add. This one will be for a free night and the famous Wyndham St. Anthony Hotel in San Antonio Texas. It is four star and and excellent property.

Ok, I have one more free night stay to add for sure. Just heard back from one of our managers at the Wyndham North Dallas by the Galleria (I didn't realize she was UNT Alumni until just now!) and she is going to mail me the certificate for a free night stay at that location. So please include that in the list of prizes. Waiting to hear on two others.

I think that is pretty much our plan too! Although we will bring extra beers (for anyone that might be in need) and I will bring plenty of bacon and cheese stuffed jalepenos that I will be making tonight and early tomorrow morning.
