I'm late to the party! I had a great time and big thanks to everyone who came out! Mark, you do an awesome job of organizing this event and as always I'm already anticipating next year's game. I want revenge! LOL Mark, let us know how much we raised in total if you can. I would love to know. Hopefully we can beat it next year.

Thanks Mark for making this happen and organizing everything! We had a blast as always. It was great seeing everyone and being able to share the field with some Mean Green Greats! See ya in September.

I'm not sure if they are going to change that this year but in the past no whistle after first down. And when one of the really athletic guys takes off it's pretty much impossible to stop them (on a shortened field). If everyone loves the idea of a 100 yard field then I am game. I'm playing no matter what. Should definitely be interesting. LOL

The last time we played at Fouts we did not use the entire field thank goodness because I think most of us would have croaked if we had. And I think that game was early April. Maybe we can decide that the day of the game once we have the final count of everyone that actually shows and we know how many subs each team will have? I don't want anyone getting heatstroke or anything. Especially since we are playing during the hottest part of the day.

I love Buffalo Butt and Ugly Pug. They are two of my favorite beers. You can buy both at Super Target. I really wanted to go to the FW one but we couldn't make it and we were able to make the Plano event anyways. I love the Stockyards Hotel. Great venue to host something like that. Hopefully next year they will need someplace bigger.

This is going to be fun. I was going to say I don't care who wins. It's more about why we are doing this and just having a good time but I would honestly be lying. Let's go green team!

Thank you Mark for doing such a great job yourself rounding this whole thing up. Count us in as bringing food to cook and share. Chicken and borracho beans as well as lots of beer, water, soda and juice (for any kids present).

We were there and it was a blast. We had to arrive a bit late due to work so we sat in the back with our two kids. My oldest (8) loved having Scrappy there. He picked her up and took a picture with her. She took it to school with her today to show her friends. Super nice area that they had it in with the food/bar set up. I would say with the coaches/staff and everyone in attendance maybe 100 people? Maybe a little less. Coach Mac is just inspiring. It's awesome to see how intense he is on turning around the program, not just wins on the field but for the kids academics and futures.

This is going to be fun. Think we could get a post going or a list of people who are going to be bringing or cooking food? That's quite a few mouths to feed and I said before we (Luis and I) are going to be grilling after we finish playing but I want to be sure there is enough food for everyone.

I'm just throwing this out there....but wouldn't it be cool if two ex players were the team captains and picked their teams? Of course you can have only so many "ex" players on each team. Many of us have played together before so it would be kind of cool to have a little bit of the unknown as far as team selection. I think it would make it a more even playing field. Just a suggestion.

Happy Birthday Harry! I hope it's a great one. You deserve it for all the hard work you do to keep bringing us all together. You just turned like 29 right?

For ME personally I love the fact that we have so many players committed this year. Lord knows I like to be subbed out a LOT. However I still plan on being in better shape this year. Just finished Austin Jailbreak and it makes the Warrior Dash look like a cakewalk. I really hope we can keep it to two teams. Will be a blast!

I disagree. It is different and new, and anytime something like this changes it takes a few moments to get used to and to learn the new navigation of the site. That being said I love it! It is very clean and self explanatory once you just take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with it. Great job Harry and crew!

Any way we can get Scott and Andy to play again this year too? And we had another player come play year before last...drawing a blank on the name however. I know last year Andy and Scott said that once they knew when it was they would try to recruit other alumni players. That would be so cool to have a nice handful come out to play with us. I look forward to this game every year.

And what's sad is that the turf that is down there now is so much better. That being said we played a bowl game on the newer turf a few years ago and I got my foot caught two different times and tripped, in regular shoes.

My question is...can we dress up? LOL I've always wanted to attend the BIG time comic con but could never afford it. I never knew we had something locally.

FF baseball is something I haven't done before. I've done plenty of F football but I'm not sure how F baseball works? I'm an avid Rangers fan since I was 4...that was a long time ago. LOL Can you give me some pointers on how this works? Is it similar to Football where you select the guys you want at positions regardless of team affiliation?

I don't think we can make the game to watch and cheer (soccer mom duties) but I would be willing to bid from afar. Like maybe giving you my max bid Mark before the game and you can take it from there. Would that work?
