I don't know what to say right now. Honestly the majority of me says let Dodge stay one more year. Maybe it will be a miracle year and put us on the map. Maybe it won't be and we fall on our faces and we get a new coach we might can afford and open the new stadium with. Doesn't sound so bad but it will probably be worse than i make it sound. LOL

I think there was another mention in the paper today or maybe on the news last night. My mother called to tell me and honestly I only listen to half of what she says because she talks so much. What time are people heading out there? My husband and I were going to try and be out there by 10am but wonder if that's going to be excessively early or should we be there earlier to get the giveaway.

Me and my other half will be there. I think I will drag my best friend along too. She doesn't care much about football but she likes to tailgate/drink and it will be one more butt in seat. I'm really excited to watch them bring the game ball in! That sounds really cool.

It's the writer's decision on what quotes to use in an article. I think given who Riley is (QB/Coach's son) he is probably going to be quoted a lot by writer's during his career here.

I mentioned earlier this week my mom has worked for TCU in various capacities for 15 years. Right now, she handles a lot of the merchandise....they can't keep those stupid shirts in stock. And I agree, they are really bad.

Thank you! I just think they are cool. Different than what is out there. I am also biased though. I have strong ties to TCU so they are my adopted team and have been since i was itty bitty. lol

They will actually be wearing their new uniforms during the game this Saturday as a "preview" sort of. It's their annual pink out game. College Gameday is going to be at the game as well on Saturday and I will be there....I have to see some good football or I'm going to go crazy. I really like the new uni's.

I understand. Five Star in The Colony has been short refs all season. Had a few games start late because we couldn't find anyone to ref the game.

Absolutely! I wouldn't even think twice about it. That's why I was saying KRAM1 should see if another ref can take his place. LOL Lord knows I would.

Find someone else to do it! I'm lucky. My oldest daughter's last game of the season is on 11/14. If it hadn't been I would have yanked her from the game. Terrible mom I know....LOL

Part of the reason that they probably can't get a sold out stadium is how bad the tailgating and layout of the parking lots suck. And I've been to plenty of TCU games. My grandpa graduated from TCU and my mother has worked in some sort of capacity for them for the past 15 years including athletics (for 10). I grew up about 1 mile from the campus. The stadium isn't all that nice IMO. It holds 44k or something like that and it's old. You can especially tell when you are walking around the concourse. This team this year is good. Good enough to beat this year's Texas team down in Austin on their turf.

I'm actually glad it's a 7pm kick off. My husband works on Saturdays until 3 so we usually can't get out there until 4:15 or so. Extra time to drink!!!!! Yay

Not really. At the end of the day we still have only one win under our belt. They are noticing the improvement like we are but again it's only one win this season so far. Until we can turn the improvement over to W's we are not going to go up in the standings.

Holy cow. We got there around 6:40 because hubby had to work and didn't get home until 6 and we live in The Colony. The parking lot was totally filled. He went in to see if there was any tables available since we had our two kids with us and they were filled to capacity and the wait was at least 40 minutes! I was bummed. But we have been listening on the radio. Next time if we can't make it before kick off I'm definitely going to call.

Pulled quad or hamstring I think?

We will be there again with kids in tow right around kick off.
