  1. Any update on watches available? We WILL be at the game Saturday for sure.
  2. Could I reserve one of each? We most likely will be going to the game but if we aren't can I make arrangements to pick them up earlier in the week? I can even send money via paypal if you want to mail them. I will send whatever is needed for postage as well of course.
  3. Awesome! My oldest picked up a poster of the girls basketball team at the mens game tonight. She wants to catch a game this season.
  4. Not to diminish the turmoil going on at their university right now but he should have been given the boot ages ago anyways. This just makes it that much more apparent.
  5. Well I'd probably be watching the Mavs....lol but since that isn't going to happen I'm celebrating my birthday (which was Wednesday) and drinking . And counting the days till our next home game.
  6. My daddy raised me right LOL.
  7. I've been watching the Rangers since I was 4yo. And I love them. Happy as hell that they might be advancing again to the World Series but no way in hell will I be watching them over the Mean Green. Plain and simple.
  8. UNT 31 FIU 27
  9. This would be after my Mom was there but during the time my Aunt was there. I have to show them this! Thank you.
  10. Is anyone setting it up? I would like to do either/or. I'm only in one FF league this year which is weird.
  11. Ok, going back to look at them again, I wish they were a tad more green but beggars can't be choosers. I like them period. I would like them if they were baby poo green.
  12. I like! I wish we had the piping but I still really like them! Simple and classic.
  13. Yeah, timing isn't always great. I completely agree. I can think of a few situations it's the same at NT football games (cheerleaders) but I'm so used to it I guess I don't notice it as much. Plus I usually have my kids with me and they love it. I loved it as a kid. I've become a pushover as a parent. LOL
  14. I saw an interview yesterday where a person saying the actual ban was a joke but that they have had complaints from spectators. It doesn't bother me either way and I've been going to Rangers games for the past 26 years, every year, all season long. Some would call the wave a tradition. It even stayed with the team after they switched to the new stadium.
  15. We had a fantastic time! That climb to the top of the wing is brutal. I ran halfway up and took two steps at a time. Definitely a nice workout. We already had season tickets but ended up donating more money on Saturday to upgrade our seats. And then went and bought a bunch of stuff from the spirit shop. I'd be curious to know how much they sold on Saturday. There was a long line the entire time we were there. It was a blast and so exciting to see everyone there. It was an added bonus to tailgate before hand with some of our GMG.com bowl game friends too. We are bringing several TCU alumni and fans with us on opening day. They are pretty excited to see the new stadium.
  16. Somehow I didn't even know about the clinic and am very disappointed I didn't get to attend. Next year for sure!
  17. Did anyone else walk to the top of the wing tip? I went to the top of the stairs but did not go to the very tip because I am afraid of heights. LOL It was impressive though. And my calf muscles are still complaining.
  18. We are doing the same. It's going to be so hot we decided to leave the kids at my brother in laws and we are going to hit up Fry after. It's been too long.
  19. Hubby trying to teach 8 yo daughter to play NCAA12= FAIL lol

  20. We will be there for sure! Can't wait.
  21. I know nothing of Whiskey or Scotch but I do know that my husband has had a bottle of that 12 year aged Chivas Regal sitting in our bar sealed and his parents bought it for him when he graduated high school. They told him he could open it when he graduated from college. Well that never happened (opening the bottle...he did graduate from college lol). I would guess that including the 12 years it's supposedly aged it is now 30 years old? Can that stuff go bad? I think tailgating this year is going to be a blast. Then again, I have a blast every year.
  22. You can also get it here in the liquor stores. I travel to SF once every two months or so. Love Anchor Steam and their little restaurant in SFO airport.
  23. I don't think I could pick just one. DosXX Lager if I'm going light or Stella but I love the darker beers Ugly Pug by Rahr 1554 by New Belgium - LOVE their brew company up in Ft. Collins CO Yeungling- but I only get it when my friend goes home to Lancaster, PA a few times a year. Can't find it down here. I know a few people mentioned COLD beer and the coldest I have had in a long time on draft is at Twin Peaks. My husband and I went there recently for beer and some bites and holy smokes it grows ice it's so cold. Good if you just want some damn cold domestic stuff.
  24. We picked our seats on 6/22 but unfortunately couldn't make it to the AC to pick them out. I can't remember what the hubby got but I know it's in the 200's and row 18 on the aisle. Sounds like a great experience. Wish we could have been there in person.
  25. Keeping his family in my prayers tonight. If you have kids make sure you give them extra hugs and kisses in the morning. Even if they are teenagers! You just don't know what each day will bring. So sad.
