These old yearbooks make for some fascinating reading. For those of you that were in school during the late '60's, that must have been a fun time. Does a tape exist of the NT-Arkansas game of 1968? Reading this article makes it sound like a helluva game. If not before my time, I would have loved to have been there.

Did anyone else send the report on the men's b'ball team Wednesday night on Fox 4 (KDFW)? They interviewed JJ and Odufwa(sp.) and talked about going for 20 wins again. After the piece, Mike Doocy said, "North Texas hot, TCU & SMU not!" Good PR anyway.

....such as Aaron Chavers of the Oklahoma City YardDawgz!!Dallas Vilgilantes @ AAC first game 4/30. No longer affiliated w/Jerry Jones, new owner was owner of Tampa Bay Storm in prior arena league. If anything like the Desperadoes, it will rock. Great game experience and the hottest dancers in the metroplex pro sports. Not to mention getting to see Evan Cardwell and other NT and SBC players in the league!!!!!!!

Brad Graham. The last LB we had named Brad turned out to be pretty good.

Think Georgio is gonna be a helicopter parent??

How about moving Tyler Franklin back to DL where he was originally recruited to play.

"We're not Austin College though!
Until our athletics programs can play on the national stage, this will be the view of regular Joes everywhere. Sad, but true...
Tiny? Shows how much research this writer did. My son goes to AC by the way.

I read somewhere that Waters was sent over to NFL Europe to learn to play offensive line after he was cut by the Cowboys. Seems like that worked out very well because he has turned out to be one of the best in the league. Future NFL Hall of Famer??

Sounds like a fantastic hire if true!

Figures. Although I thought he would decommit for a better program than UTEP.
No wonder Dodge was in the other QB's living room on Monday.
Trevor Vittatoe will be a senior next year and Rivals doesn't show any other QB commits for UTEP so I guess this makes sense. A quick look at their roster shows 3 freshman, 1 RS freshman, and another junior QB besides Vittatoe.

I'm guessing Rice believes he is more valuable and polished as WR and he may want to continue playing baseball at Rice. I wonder if Dodge would ask him to play WR too? Or, would this be another guy for us to add to our stable of QBs that wouldn't play QB at any other FBS school??
The possibility of playing baseball will probably be the key. That's one of the things that Rice can offer that we can't. Taylor is a heckuva baseball player also.
-
Per Rivals, will visit LSU on 1/30. Will find out then if they will offer. Also likes UTEP, but UNT is alright as of 1/18.
Don't have a problem with it. Jordan Taylor (QB,WR) from Denison has orally committed to Rice but will visit NT this weekend. Taylor had an in home visit with Coach Dodge Monday.

Between Booger and PC. I'll pick Booger!

Is the Texas A&M - Commerce coach named Guy Moriss the same guy who coached Kentucky? If DD got the job, wonder if he could hire DeLoach away from here?
Yes, it's the same Guy Morris. Former coach at Baylor also.
Could Sam Houston pay more than we do? Don't think Deloach would leave just to rejoin DD unless more money was involved.
Tcu Ooc Schedule

"The Ticket" just announced that TCU will play Oregon St. at Dallas Cowboys Stadium to open the season, then Tennessee Tech, Baylor, and SMU to round out their ooc schedule.
