  1. Coach Mac said at the recruiting day press conference that the spring game is set for April 15.
  2. I believe J.T. still holds the longest interception returned for t.d. in NT history, 100 yards against LaTech.
  3. More from Sherman newspaper: http://www.heralddemocrat.com/hd/Sports/Sherman-athletes-sign-to-play-in-college--
  4. That is awesome. J.T. is one of my all time favorite NT players, I followed his career from NT to the Redskins, Chiefs, and Cardinals.

  6. Don't have an allegiance to either team, but I'll go with the Steelers because they've had several NT players over the years (Greene, Shanklin, and Pegram).
  7. Just saw the name and thought maybe he was former Ram Henry Ellard's son but after looking at his bio, it's evident that he's not.
  8. I like this quote from the Woodrow Wilson coach: He was a four-year starter for us," Estes said. "I have had two four year starters, one was Sergio Kindle, and the other was Chard Polk. If he was 6-3, he would have Notre Dame and USC after him. He gets after the football and creates turnovers. That's pretty good company.
  9. Wow, 6'5" but only 174 lbs. He needs to put a little meat on his bones. Welcome aboard Chaz.
  10. Can anyone name the players in that picture? Is that the great J.T. Smith in the lower left?
  11. Says here that Stouffer hasn't committed anywhere, is visiting Vanderbilt: http://highschoolsportsblog.dallasnews.com/archives/2011/01/highland-park-ol-kyle-stouffer-kimball-w.html
  12. I believe that article says McDaniel is a little quicker but Lee is a little stronger. I would definitely bring in the McKinney North DL if no one else offers. We need all the defensive help we can get. .
  13. http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/high-schools/matt-wixon/20110124-wixon-hunter-lee-witnesses-painful-side-of-college-recruiting.ece I'd take a chance on him.
  14. Why can't we get anybody in these games. I thought Craig Robertson would definitely be invited to play. http://www.nfldraftbible.com/Texas-vs-The-Nation/2011-nflpa-game-rosters-announced.html http://www.seniorbowl.com/southroster.asp http://www.easthamallstargame.com/stripes.php
  15. Right, Kinne left Baylor and went out to California for a year and then returned to take the Sherman job 2 years ago.
  16. Zach started on the Sherman varsity all 4 years. He started on defense as a safety his freshman and sophomore years as Sherman had Wayman James (now at TCU) as RB. Zach took over at RB when James graduated 2 years ago.
  17. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-118444 Just found out that I went to high school with Greg's mom. She says Greg has an offer from Prairie View and is visiting Midwestern State this weekend.
  18. A lawyer. I think Trip Kuene's father.
  19. from Ernie Kuene at halftime.
  20. I know Zach and his family personally. He is a tremendous athlete. With that being said, I would also add "buyer beware". Zach has had some problems in the past. However, getting out of Sherman may be exactly what he needs.
  21. We were really good on special teams back then with Garrett as kicker and John Baker as punter.
  22. Did anyone else see the story last night on WFAA about former NT kicker Garrett Courtney? He's now an Allen police officer and at 33, he's trying out for the new Allen Wranglers arena football team. Fun story and Garrett seems like a great guy. Couldn't find a link on WFAA.com.
  23. What a fantastic year. Wonder what Jamario is doing these days?
  24. Nice commit.
