We had 2 weeks to prepare for Tulane & we came out flat. Finally woke up the 2nd half and made a game of it. I hope La Tech comes out flat also but we've put the game away by the time they realize it. -
Mac said in his press conference today that Brown will be back this season, just not sure when. Said he could not redshirt & would just lose the season if he doesn't play.

Wasn't Brown expected to be back by conference play? Would be a nice addition down the stretch.

I don't get that 42 yard average either. That was a heads up play by Trice though. Besides Brelan, Trice may be the 2nd most exciting player to watch.

Saw a couple of boys with Nevada Community shirts on. They're not really known as a football powerhouse but who knows? We had a RB from there back in the Fry era named Billy Cox.

I was at that FSU game also. The next year we played at FSU & there was a picture in their program of me and my friend making a snowman up in the stands of Fouts Field.

I saw Voss up on the concourse during the 3rd quarter, he was walking (with a limp) without the crutches.

Agree on Jimmerson, nice to see him show flashes from last year. Still lost a fumble which is gonna keep him in Mac's doghouse. Defense did not give up any big plays, that was nice to see for a change.

New episode aired today (Thursday) at 4:00 on FSSW. Good episode: Coach Simmonds & his wife had the O-line over for dinner and a segment on the N.O. Bowl years with interviews with Patrick Cobbs, RV, and others. -
