  9. Chris Seroka was the head strength & conditioning coach. Maybe he left.
  10. Obviously D-lineman but don't reach just because we need them. I'd say take the best athlete(s) available regardless of position, then use them as Patterson does at TCU. Make receivers, DE's, LB's out of them.
  11. seems like I remember Andrew Power playing in some kind of all star game in North Carolina a couple of years ago. Can't understand why we had no one play in one last year though.
  12. Hope the Steelers let him return kicks, something the Chargers refused to do.
  13. Bill was the PA announcer for UT-Dallas basketball a few years ago (may still be doing it) and Austin College came in to play them one night. My son was playing for AC at the time. One of the few highlights of my life was hearing my son's name called out by the great Bill Mercer!
  14. Wow, this Bill Mercer thread sure got sidetracked. Bill talked about his days in the Navy in WW II, the JFK assassination, and of course the Ice Bowl. He's lived a pretty fascinating life. Norm asked Bill to come back on in a couple of weeks and talk about the WCCW days among other things.

  16. A 6'7" 240 lb athletic TE would be nice.
  17. not a big fan of McDonald's either but that Mean Green McDonald's did get my business occasionally. Looks like the Comfort Suites at UNT is meeting the same fate. It's fenced off also.
  18. ..will be on with Norm Hitzges tomorrow (Wed) morning at 10:50 talking about the 1967 Cowboys-Packers Ice Bowl.
  19. down 21-7 so far. Go Wolves!
  20. Please, no conference games to start the season.
