That is information that would have been useful before I drove my whole family an hour to Denton to let my kids see a big time college soccer game...

does the fact that the game is on ESPN 3 mean that there will be no way that a sports bar will be able to show this thing? if not, how can I find one that will be showing it?

Mack Brown Reveals His Approach To Coaching...
bigrobdsp replied to The Fake Lonnie Finch's topic in Mean Green Football
I agree completley. Anyone who can only win 10 games for 11 straight years totaly blows. With all the talent they have they should totaly win every game every year. Since there is clearly no one in the whole universe who get the talent that they get by not doing anything or working hard or coaching good or any of that stuff (cuase the totally dont), they underacheive when they lose even one game. I dont know how they look at themselves in the mirror..... -
Could someone put up the link to the old Texas game with the out of bounds catch at the bell for them to come back? The game where we wond but were robbed

Don't Call Us, We'll Call You ( Unt )

I would still rather play in the WAC. They have teams that casual football fans know somthing about. They send teams to bigger and better bowl games. Most importantly (to me) I would rather watch a game against the teams from the WAC than any of the Sunbelt teams. Troy is the only team from our conference that I get up to see come to town. Conference USA would be our best option by a mile, but the WAC is still better from a football watching perspective than the Sunbelt. I do agree with one of their posters in that having Arkansas State, and ULM / ULALA, and Middle Tennesee come to town each week is killing our program. I know the travel schedule (blah blah), the immenant cherry picking by stronger leagues (yadda yadda), etc, etc is a problem with the WAC. I get it. But man, I would really love to have a team come to town that someone at my office other than fellow NT alum have ever heard of. -
It makes our fan base look retarded when you two say things like that. I assume that you are trying to push buttons, because this is not a rational line of thought.

I have to get this straight. It is your contention, that the winningest QB in College Football History isnt better than Ryan Leaf while still in college???

Apparently none of you can read. He never once mentiones "Man Made Global Warming". he just states the FACT that the temperature is higher right now than it was at another time in history. I personaly dont think humans have any effect on the temperature of the earth, but the author has not expressed any opinions on that subject. You are all proving his point

I usually hope nothing political gets done ever. As long as the rules dont change, I am confident that I can play by them and win. having said that, if these idiots can put a playoff system in place for college football I will vote for all of them. Dem, Rep, Ind, or other doesnt matter to me. This is the first issue of any real consequence to me that any politician has brought up in my lifetime.

I would like to know how to raise my "reputation" status. I would like a rep.

Ingram is the least deserving Heisman winner in a long time. He has the lowest total yardage of any heisman winner in the last 20+ years. He was 5th in total yardage this year, 10th in yards per game, not in the top 10 in any other major stat category. He is a nice player and should have a good pro career, but there were 3 historicly good players up for that award (McCoy, Gerhart, Suh) Its a shame that he won that award

TCU wont end up the year with a chance to play for a title no matter what happens. If Texas loses, Cincinnati will jump TCU after playing #9 pitt next week and play the SEC representative for the title. Both SEC teams could lose a game and still be ranked above TCU. They wont get a chance this year, but it is neat to see them getting closer.

than 9 count them 9 other teams playing in division 1 football. If that isnt the respect that you have been looking for, I dont know what is... http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/news...s&type=lgns

I agree completly. You all may not see it, but this year has given me alot of hope. I see progress. We have been really competitive in most of our games.
