I would believe this to be correct. How many large schools actually have corporate sponsors for their stadiums? I can only think of Tech in the the area. Area being the southwest

Had it confirmed today that beer will NOT be sold in the cossesion stands. Was told though that it is not ruled out to serve beer in the whole stadium in the future, including as soon as next year possibly.

Why does everyone keep referring to Notre Dame in this thread? ND's television contract with NBC is not even remotely comparable to the LHN! All NBC does for notre dame is televise their home games, that's it. No coaches show, no tv for other sports, he'll except for upcoming game promos you never even hear ND's name mentioned on NBC. The LHN will be 24-7 Longhorns. Do some of you realize that? To think it won't give them an advantage in recruiting is absolutely ignorant. Will it effect their football recruiting much? Maybe not since they already pick and choose who they want, but it will certainly help with all other sports. The chance to play almost all of your games( or at least home games) on tv for volleyball. Softball, baseball, basketball, etc will be a Hugh advantage no one else has.

I don't know about y'all but I haven't seen North Texas win a home game in two years and if it wasnt for WKU I can't even tell you the last game we won at home. At this point we could play Denton High at the new stadium and I will be there just to see us WIN.

If that is true and whether it is national or regional, but especially if it's National then that is just pure genius by the AD. National exposure like that cant be duplicated, especially free exposure.

There is no way that a sideline camara is on the sideline at OSU. It would running over players. Notice next year when you watch a game at OSU on TV you will hardly ever get a camara down the line of scrimmage because the only have fixed camaras on the side due to the lack of room.

My group and i got our tickets this morning. 12 Tickets in Section 208 rows 18 and 19, seats 1 through 6. Easy day today picking out our seats. One of the group had not yet been inside the stadium area and the view from the AC. Needless to say he was overwhelmed and really excited for next year.

Curious. Where does this put us in the belt and other smaller conferences on our coaches pay scale? Football coach, and mens and womans basketball coach.

Kram, I can't say thank you enough for the basketball you gave my son. He hasn't put it down yet. In fact he came and played all night with it cuz it fit into his fisher price hoop. In fact he took it to bed with him. Also today while I was at work I got a call from the wife saying that when she turned on the unc/Kentucky game little Kyle was pointing at the players on tv and asking where's "DaDa"? I have heard that we might be opening on the road at FIU to open the season on Thursday September 1st and it will be broadcasted on one of the ESPN family of networks.

I would think that if that was his plan he would of went the JUCO route instead of a 4 year University. Hell he could of gone to NCTC and then transferred up there in December of next year and played right away.
