Not sure he is worse per say. Last year he had Dunbar covering up his defeciencies. Defenses had to sell out to stop Dunbar no matter the down and distance in most cases and it kept a lot of things open for Thompson that isn't open for him this year

The last slant they tried Thompson stared the receiver down and threw a horrible pick that kept FAU in the game.

Problem is not play calling or play design. PROBLEM is no QB and defenses don't have to fear the pass at ALL!!!!!THOMPSON can't hit anything more then 5 yards down the field and everyone in the stadium knows it!!!!

I have been told they are looking into not only canceling classes but also closing down the dining halls and any student that attends the game can use their dinning card for a free dog or nacho and drink at the game.

I can attest to the nice buzz, and i only had a small glass. Defiantly worth the stop gentleman!!!

Just to let everyone know, the AD sent out an email to the restaurant partners a couple days ago and is asking all of those interested to sell 2 for $10 Wing tickets to all its patrons and the restaurant that sells the most will be honored on the field during the game. Just so y'all know HOOTERS will be making a big push to win this marketing opportunity and to help fill the wing.

IMO, the last thing we want is another Texas D1 program recruiting against us in our own conference. At least if they were in the Belt or a dying WAC we would have a better conference affiliation as an extra advantage. Another Texas D1 program recruiting against us??? Name the last one to do so. This is something we have never had to worry about and frankly i would much rather have that problem then be in a conference with a bunch of teams out student body could care less about.

While I do agree that it seemed our offense spurted out some last year, we still was among the highest scoring offense in the league with a bunch of young players that never really found their shot.

I thought both players had already signed their letter of intent? Obvioulsly though i could be very wrong about that.

You really think LSU would pay JJ 1.5 million or more? I could be wrong but that is a lot of money to pay a coach with no tournament wins and a so-so conference record at a mid major. Maybe they ante up to get him but I just don't see it. Does JJ take 750 or 1 mill. Maybe, maybe not. Can we up the ante? Can we afford to go to the 6-700k range?
