When the quarter started down by 3 points = A chance to win the game Later in the 4th Quarter down by 10 points = A chance to win the game again, you don't seem to understand the wording of a "chance" to win the game, and "close" to winning the game. As the 4th quarter winded down our "chances" became less and less, but down 3 points going into the 4th quarter by any metric known to man, is a giving yourself a "chance" to win the game.

Having watched lots of football in my lifetime he is right. we did have an opportunity to win the game in the 4th quarter. meaning that the game was not out of reach. Did we do anything in the 4th quarter to win the game? NO!!! He didn't say we were close to winning, he said we had a chance to win. BIG Difference. We can bitch and moan all we want and be disappointed, but the fact remains, this is the first time since 2013 we have gone on the road to a P5 and had a legit chance to win the game going into the 4th quarter. That is a step in the right direction. Is it acceptable, no, but does show signs of progress and i will take that at this point in time.

Dont know about the others schools relationships and what their deals include, but i do know North Texas has a dedicated account manager that works for Learfield but is based out of the Athletic Center and works exclusively with/for North Texas selling our advertising rights.

I was told Saturday morning that all the Suites were sold out this year, the new suites were sold out this year, and we have sold more club seats than ever before. Nothing was mentioned about actual season ticket sales. I took that as a bad sign, but maybe they just thought i was more interested in the big $$$ sales.

I think what you are remembering was the video part was shrunk down in the past and the remaining part of the screen (bottom and sides) were used to show stats. It appeared to me they used the north video board primarily for stats, and the used the main video board as a full video, with the exception of the bottom that was used for advertisements.

i would imagine the uncertainty throughout the week if the game was going to be played or not drove a few people away as well

IF you have ever been to a game at Penn State you would realize if we could get our students involved in the game day atmosphere just a 1/3 of how the students at PSU are, Apogee would be crazy fun on game day. Their students are non stop involved and constantly doing something to enhance the atmosphere.

Usually yes, but it’s been thrown around how much Lamar needs the money, so they could save quite a bit if they bussed up and back. Just to be clear, I have no info as to one way or the other

This is the one minor drawback to our tailgaite setup. You don’t see to many visiting fans on or below the hill. Someone more astute than I needs to get the info to Lamar’s board of where to find our best tailgaiting areas so we can show them the hospitality that makes North Texas great!
