It would make no since for SL to be in Manhattan. He was in DENTON today, fly up to manhattan, then back for practice/or address the team tomorrow, then go back to manhattan, just makes no since.

It may be a CUSA tie in, but it is owned by ESPN...what ESPN wants is what ESPN gets. Same reason we played an East Coast team on a Thursday night at 8:30pm/9:30pm est. TV gets what TV wants

maybe they didnt want us? They almost lost that bowl this year due to the city of Dallas not wanting to participate anymore. Maybe the lack of travel $$$'s that come with having UNT in the game offsets the ticket sale that does.

I know last year, opponent in dallas didn't matter. They wanted bowl game the kids could travel too, hence why we ended up playing Troy in New Orleans. Dont get me wrong, i would not prefer New Mexico, but if the AD insists on taking the team somewhere again, then i can see us turning down the opportunity to play in Dallas. Not to derail, but maybe we already know that Seth will not be the coach, and dont want to play a Big 10 team with an interm head coach...
