How does it work for the students at UT? Don't they pay high student athletic fees anyway (higher than us) and they aren't guaranteed a seat? I thought it was just a lottery.

well... this definitely spices things up a bit. And good for Dodge to put a fire under the AD office and the university presidents office. From the way this was set up - a lunch in trophy club during the week, I don't think they were hoping for or were expecting a whole lot of people. That being said - WHY did they not want a lot of people to show? Why wouldn't they set this up for a weekend and reserve a large gathering place? Are they just holding out for the dinner thing at the AC? It is a bit strange to basically set up these small gatherings during week days at lunch time. I'd like to hear what RV and TD were thinking when they set this up.

...for season ticket holders only.. that might be a good enticement for people to get season tickets. cut rates on concessions for them.

I find this assertion laughable. And I am an NT BCIS grad. UT graduates (or any other large, highly competitive school with well placed graduates in positions of power) aren't going to be doing coding for long anyway because they will be in management within a short period time. Reality of the corporate world is that knowing how to "code" a certain language well only guarantees you will NOT be joining the ranks of Management anytime soon. Call me cynical, but that is reality.
