  1. Post of the night!!! LOLOLOL
  2. Let’s score 75 points.
  3. Liberty punting lolz
  4. Announcing crew is quite good. Given this bizarre game I’ve been keep interested by their commentary.
  5. Saw at least one UNT hat here today. 😊 We’re getting lucky with the weather.
  6. I'm actually going to this game today with my father in law (USNA '69). Gearing up head to toe in waterproof gear. 😎
  7. Agreed - and watching this, I feel like I got a better feel for this game not actually having seen its original airing. Our team was better certainly but I don't feel like UA actually melted down or gave up, we just made some very impressive and aggressive defensive stops. Our offensive line moved their defensive line, Mason had some ridiculous breadbasket perfect passes to receivers, it was just a brilliantly executed win by the good guys. Wow. Again.
  8. Do y’all think maybe Seth could become our Gary Patterson? Step 1: Triple his salary by any means necessary Step 2: Were you able to accomplish step 1? No?? Go back to step one. Step 3: Double isn't enough, beg and grovel to all your best donors. 2.5X salary won't cut it guys, repeat steps 1-3.
  9. Message from my cousin from Baton Rouge who is a huge LSU fan, SEC fan sent me a text message out of the blue: "Arkansas Toast!" 😎
  10. Yeah I mean... I looks OK, my one real concern is that the words "Mean" and "Green" are wayyyy too small. If we want to go big time, I'd say increase the size of those bad boys significantly.
  11. Do we have renderings that are relatively close to what will be built yet? I thought I remembered seeing something on a thread a while back. If anyone could repost here that would be great! Yeah, that would be great...
  12. Wow. Best one yet, by far... Mason Fine is the North Texas story at its most inspirational. He is verbalizing that dream that so many UNT students have to make something big happen with their lives, to overcome defeats in life and to make the most out of second chances. I felt something deep in my gut watching this that makes me so proud of my fellow alums that did what they needed to do, put in the work to be something or do something big. I talk to these kinds of people all the time when I'm at alumni functions, or at games, people that amaze me with their courage, fortitude and desire. They chose UNT and never looked back, never apologized, never complained. They put in the hard work and achieved impressive results in too many fields and endeavors to even count. This story tops them all in my book, so proud!
  13. COME ONNNNN!!! We can do this guys and gals!!!
  14. Outstanding video, loved it - more of these please!
  15. Don't disagree with the fact that people are mostly watching the action on the field, I do as well. I still think the jumbotron is a big focal point during the games and it doesn't change my opinion. 4 smaller screens is a terrible idea. Sticking with that.
  16. Not crazy about the idea of 4 smaller screens instead of the one large one we have now... Let's be honest, I hate it. Right now everyone is dialed in on the big screen and it creates excitement. I feel like 4 smaller screens just dials back the hype during the games.
  17. Question, and maybe I've been out of the loop on this topic for a while - I thought "we" generally used Rivals as the the gold standard for the stars rankings and 247sports as sort of a sketchy, secondary ranking that we really didn't trust. If I recall correctly, 247 used to give an extra star whereas Rivals would be one star less, across the board. Has that changed recently? Why are we not referring to Rival's star rankings anymore?
  18. 180,000 lame arse UNT alumni will be missing out on a great game, fun atmosphere, and fist bumping scrappy. 20K will be having a great time.
  19. Girls have earned it for sure. http://www.meangreensports.com/sports/w-tennis/spec-rel/091517aab.html From the article: Kononova, was recently ranked a North Texas program-best No. 41 in the nation for singles. In addition, she and fellow North Texas junior, Tamuna Kutubidze, earned a Mean Green record-setting No. 22 ranking for doubles.
