Furthermore... Even if this author has a point - which they do, actually - bottom line is were we committed to D1 ball. If not, then we should have kept Fouts and dropped down to D1AA. Simple as that, this was about a commitment to D1 ball. Our acceptance to CUSA is the payoff here.

Reading the article, I really saw nothing untrue about it. Only thing I would say is I don't remember anyone ever promising a massive increase in attendance because of Apogee. If someone can show me where anyone in the administration gave some kind of specific increase in numbers promise, then I take that back. I don't remember seeing that in print.

Don't we already use something like this? I'm always a few minutes late to every game so I wasn't sure. *lordy, getting young kids ready to go to games is beat down, but I digress* A follow up question - I remember a reason why we could not dim the lights in the SuperPit was due to not having hand rails. Can rectify that and get some hand rails? Is that in our 3 mil budget? If not it should be.

Unfortunately no, not this year. I should probably be flogged for my hypocrisy on this, but it just ain't going to happen due to budget, schedule conflict issues. Enjoy your time down there. It's going to bother me not being there.

I never really saw Dickey's teams as boring when we were demolishing teams. In fact it was hilarious to watch the other teams get frustrated at not being able to do anything when we ran for 5 yards at a time and sucked their will to win away while at the same time sucking clock time. Precision clock management and devastating defenses. That isn't boring to me. Wins are fun.

They should take that part at the end of the video and play it at home games on the jumbo-tron to get the fans fired up. I think it could work.

Eagle's Landing = Melrose Place from the 90's. Was such a short walk to Fouts, too. Really miss the old Sig Ep house. Looked like an old motel 6 for anyone who came to UNT after it was torn down (2008? can't remember). Great location as well, just don't miss the horrifyingly large cockroaches.

LSU mostly ran the ball and really didn't seem to try to open their play book. TSU. Enough said on TSU. Kstates qb was mostly terrible as an accurate qb. Do we really know how good our secondary is yet? I'm very afraid that they could be - hmm not so good after the troy game.

Anyone see the Buffalo, Kent State game last night? I, unfortunately, did. There were probably 4,000 fans there, the field with the track around it along with the faded concrete looking astro-turf reminded me of fouts. It was awful. Worse than awful. Folks we cannot allow that kind of turnout for our Tuesday night game. It was pathetic and honestly looked worse in terms of apathy than most high school games across Texas. Do what you have to do, clear your schedule, MAKE THAT TUESDAY NIGHT ESPN2 GAME.
