  8. Love ya bro.. agree with just about everything you say most of the time, but I gotta say this about Mr. Derek T. WATCH THE DAMN GAMES. This guy is just not good. It isn't the fault of the receivers, or Derek's mom, or lack of a defense, etc. etc. HE JUST ISN'T THAT GOOD and he isn't accurate and he lofts balls way above receivers and he locks onto a certain receiver and he can't run and and and. Look he just isn't that good and to blame it on the defense and the receivers is laughable. EDIT - realize you weren't comparing Tony to Derek, but my other comments still apply.

  10. U guys think people in Denton and surrounding area alumni have heard of crayon and Alabama polytechnic? No. They have heard of Mr Tony Mitchell. Thus they WILL be at the games. I know I will. And I'm not really a die hard like CMJ etc. Ok that's a lie. I just don't know the sport in and out. Point is I don't care about crayon either. I'll be there because of OUR team.

  14. If RV does this it is like signing his official resignation papers. Not that I'd oppose it, but that is the reality of the situation. It won't happen mid-year like a Dodge firing.

  16. Uhhhmm. Ok. <long dramatic pause> So after reading through all of the basketball guru's comments, I've gone from thinking this was one of the following after reading the comments last night: 1.) massive, fully justified negative reaction (albeit probably too early to really say for sure-come on it's only two games ,RIGHT???) by passionate fans like tasty and CMJ. 2.) too-early to tell condemnations of a legitimate coach who got some bad breaks from injuries and what-not. But now I'm starting to think we really do have another Todd Dodge on our hands. If this is the case RV should be fired. I don't think there is any other choice and I think the president of the university needs to bring RV into his office if we don't see MASSIVE improvement over the next 10 games. I've always been the one to push for sainthood for RV after the stadium and other facility improvements but MAN - you can't waste this. This is going to look like a colossal joke if we waste a talent like Tony Mitchell. I'm also getting fed up with lack of promotions. This is just the final straw for me for RV. I think he's lost his passion and is just keeping the lights on. Sick of it.
