  1. If you're not tolerant of mixed seating, it's obvious that you are filled with hate. Where is the acceptance? Where is the love? Someone doesn't DECIDE to sit in mixed seating - they are BORN into it.
  2. Welcome! Great to have another SigEp on here as well. The mean green nation grows!
  3. egg-zactly. I was going to post the eggzact same thing. If history is any indication - we have no idea what the effect of all those zealous students sitting in those seats during the past (n) years will mean. I'm just going by personal experience. I personally know many UNT alums at my place of business that have graduated recently and who really have no connection whatsoever. Recent grads. Call me skeptical but at NT: I ALWAYS take a show-me-first mentality.
  4. Yes. Remember it quite well. To me it was much more frustrating and depressing than all of this talk of CUSA is "not a big upgrade". Like the difference between going on life support and getting the flu. Yeah, the flu is a bummer, but... Life Support?
  5. Simple. Effective. (Rare for NT ads). Love it.
  6. Really don't like the tin roof with holes look. Makes our Wingzone look good.
  7. I'm seriously afraid we might lose this guy to the NJL. National Jumproping League. Good thing they implemented the 2 years of required college rule.
  8. Funniest post I've read in a long time. Actually laughed. Like - out loud.
  9. Where do you live/family: Keller, TX - Wife, Grad NT 2000, 4 kids Degree: BCIS (BS) Favorite NT Memory: Probably all my fun times at the old SigEp house. Roaches and all. They became my little friends. Favorite NT Sports Memory: Three way tie: 1.) Tthe two tech wins at texas tech in the 1990's, 2.) 2002 bowl win over cincy 3.) First game at Apogee. caveat - I was not at the Texas Tech basketball win at the pit. I still kick myself for missing that one.
  10. I sense that most people actually agree with what SilverEagle is trying to say, however it is the delivery that is a beat down. I personally agree completely that we need to spice up the entrance, etc. but it isn't as big of an issue as he makes it out to be. It means more to me because I was in marching band in high school and I love all of that pageantry stuff and it really amps up the experience for me. Bottom line for me though is that wins are more important. Have all the pageantry you want, could be world class quality - if you lose to UTSA, I'm gonna be pissed. SilverEagle is passionate and - more power to him because I believe he has a valid point. I did still give him a negative - not for message but for delivery. Sorry bro.
  11. Right fine Lonnie except that I don't think you can kick out 60 schools without them trying to band together and fight it. And there are some major political players in that list I'm sure as well. ESPN might not like it either, and may object to that change.
  12. Let me ask you a Randy Galloway question regarding Derek T. Do you watch the damn games? All of those rainbow passes 5 yards over receivers heads with no discernable rushing pressure - that's just fine with you? All those times where DT is shuffling around for like 25 seconds looking completely lost with receivers running around all over the place - that's just fine as well? That's just receivers that can't get open, etc?
  13. Yep this about sums it up for me. If Mac is publicly stating that BB is a DISTANT third on the depth chart then that is bad news folks. BAD NEWS.
  14. Not sure I buy that reasoning. If coaches want a "big crowd" then show up on a saturday someplace big like well - like in Apogee's club area to a packed house. If you are inviting cheerleaders, band, etc. aren't you expecting large crowds? You don't get that on a weeknight. I can tell you that is a big reason why I won't be able to attend one of these. Fine, you want to have four stops. Have them over 4 weekends. How is that challenging?
  15. Is there a reason why these are held on weekdays? Seems like a simple attendance fix to hold these on a Saturday evening. What am I missing?
  16. Great info. I've never ridden on the A train but it just went to the top of my list of cool things to do in the next couple of weekends. Love me some Denton. Have seriously considered moving there after the kids move out of the house.
  17. Hopefully Nelly Cruz will still be suspended at that point. Then we may have a chance.
