  1. 201 needs some work. I do my part with my little crew.
  2. Nice. Don't think I haven't been thinking of similar devious schemes.
  3. Correction, Scrappy, Dan, FFR, and "Did I mention the fact that I own a National Championship team at Florida ring!!" WANT YOU.
  4. Let's be honest here. It's going to be a VERY tough call for families with young kids. I've already dropped the bomb on my 4 kids, 3 of which are in prime trick or treating ages. Let me just say, it was not pretty. I was the target of a tsunami of whining that you wouldn't believe. Let me just give a you a sampling of some of the discussion: "WHAT!?!? on halloween? NO WAY DAD! I'm not going. You can't make me." -anonymous, age 10 "It is going to be SO BORING!" - anonymous, also age 10 "Well you're going, and you're going to have fun!!! They'll have bounce houses" - father, age 38 "Who cares! I want to trick or treat in OUR neighborhood. " - anonymous, you guessed it - age 10 Guys, I don't know if I can win this battle. I may end up sitting in the stands by myself with maybe my oldest son, age 12. That's a drop of 6 from our usual count. Not sure if my parents who normally go with us can make it either on a work night. It is what it is I guess. Just be prepared for some bad numbers on the alum side.
  5. To be fair though, you went in expecting 1 and ended up getting 2. That's like 100% underestimation.
  6. I have no problem with people getting drunk as long as they for the most part stay away from me. I can't really avoid the drunks to my left and right seats in apogee. And yes, I realize I can go tell an usher that the slobbering drunk is falling over my kids and vomiting on them, etc. that's no fun either. Just saying, things like this can and do happen. I've been to rangers games and other professional sports events where crazies live. Could it be managed better, sure it could. I'm just saying my preference would be to vote no on prop. 1.
  7. Did a professor at UTSA do "bad things" to you whilst in a trusted relationship?
  8. good point. oh you were being facetious? fact: drinking leads to drunkenness. look it up. edit #2: I was in a fraternity, I should know this. My opinion puzzles you therefore, no?
  9. Basically what TFLF said. Don't want more drunks ruining the experience potentially.
  10. Don't be distracted by the noggin. Stay focused.
  11. Damn, I forgot about the VVIP forum. If others are not aware of it (newer posters like SSP) don't attempt to find out. You will not be granted access under any circumstances. Do not attempt to contact harry or myself because you are most likely not worthy of viewing this super secret forum. Let's just say high level university decisions are made here. Life and death stuff. But again - don't make any attempt to gain access. It's for your own good. It's better that you remain unaware. So glad that I'm able to access it personally.
  12. I'll argue that shprockets was the funniest sketch on SNL of all time.
  13. Congratulations! You and I have something else in common now. You and I both have a set of twins... My twins are now 10 yrs old. You will make it through the 1st year, trust me. My sincere advice item #1: - Build up a sleep buffer RIGHT NOW.
  14. This is what is starting to worry me. A lot. - Buring Dajon's redshirt - Calling out fans.
  15. There is a long backstory to this, not sure if you're aware of it or not...
  16. You remember when.. someone had the Green Grenade post generator, remember that? That was... awesome..
  17. As long as they don't have generic block lettering... I'm fine with it.
  18. This thread: Win.
  19. Damn, I'm out of +1s. Hope you still feel like a man.
  20. NEVERRRRRRR!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo!
  21. Simple solution. Add a retractable roof to Apogee. Can't believe I didn't think of that earlier. I have a cheaper alternative though. Panchos.
  22. Yup. so... has anyone done a scientific study on the other 95%'ers? I'd like to propose this as the breakdown. Think of it as an un-scientific speculative study. An UN-SPEC study if you will. 50% - were told there would be wins during theses events and were dismayed when this occasionally was not the case. 15% - have sunlight allergies 10% - are showing up at Fouts field gates thinking "yeah, just as I read, attendance is poor". 25% - prefer knitting or crochet based sports. 5% - think the walk from the fouts lot over the bridge is "just too dangerous with all that traffic below. plus the thing shakes alot. kind of scary". Am I over 95%? Well too bad, this is an unscientific study. That's why we have Rice in this conference. Let them deal with the math.
  23. I'd like to propose we bring the person's BMI into the equation. I'm fine with including Clash of Clans trophy counts as well. Some mash up of those items and +1s.
